The Kuang Si Waterfall (Kuang si Falls) (Lao: ນ້ຳຕົກຕາດ ກວາງຊີ), sometimes spelt Kuang Xi or known as Tat Kuang Si Falls, is a three levelled waterfall about 29 kilometres (18 mi) south of Luang Prabang. Laos These waterfalls are a favourite side trip for tourists in Luang Prabang. The falls begin in shallow pools atop a steep hillside. These lead to the main fall with a 60 metres (200 ft) drop
They are accessed via a trail to a left of the falls. The water flows into a turquoise blue pool before continuing downstream. The many cascades that result are typical of waterfalls.
The locals charge a nominal admission fee of 20,000 kips to visit the site, but it is well maintained with walkways and bridges to guide the visitor. Most of the pools are open to swimming (although at least one is closed as being a sacred site).
You can also rent a motorbike at Laos Group Tours Office from the only 70.000kip per day
