Huay Xai - Nong Khiaw - Luang Prabang 4 Days Package

Itinerary

Day 1: Huay xai pick up (Meals: N/A)
Our Guide and driver will pick you up at the Laos Thai Border than move to a restaurant in Huay xai for your breakfast (optional) 
After the breakfast we start the trip to Nong Khiaw, on the way we will stop in a Restaurant in Laung Namtha for quick Lunch.
After Lunch we continue our trip to Nong Khiaw, We arrive nong Khiaw at round 5 pm.
Check in your hotel and relax, have dinner on your own (optional)
Overnight: Nong Khiaw, Laos

Day 2: Slow boat to Weaving Village and Muang Nguoi (Meals: B,L)
Our trip start by a short walk from our office in Nong Khiaw to the river we the boat is await for us to cruise up stream on Nam ou river. this last approximately 50 minutes. During the cruise you will see the unique river and limestone scenery of the Nam Ou river, you could also catch many sign of daily activities of the both side local life living.
Our first destination will be Ban Houy Hoiy (Houy Hoi Village). Our guide will continue to explain you about the traditional life of the tribe group and how the villagers have been thriving on the Nam Ou river for many generations, after the experience we get back to pier and continue to Ban Sop Kong (Sop Kong Khmu Village)

After another 10 minutes boat ride you will reach Ban Sop Kong, a traditional Khmu village. The guide will introduce you the culture and the difference between Khmu people and other tribe group..
We continue our day with a trek through typical rice paddies about 1h30min until you will reach the waterfall. Reward yourself here with a swim in the waterfall and a Lao picnic lunch!

After the Lunch relax a little bit then get to Nam Ou river. Warm up your body and arm's muscles while getting to learn information about the kayaking and river. we will kayak downstream on the Nam Ou River and see the local river life with people fishing, children swimming, pig and water buffalo sunbathing… Stop whenever you want or just hop on the boat to rest and enjoy the beautiful river’s scenery until you arrive back in Nong Khiaw.
At Nong Kiaw Pier our driver is waiting for us to take us about 2 hours to luang Prabang. Arrive Luang Prabang round 7pm check in your hotel in city center

Day 3: Full Day Mekong River Cruise to Pak ou cave and Kuang si waterfall (Meals: B,L)
8:00 AM You will be picked up from your hotels in Luang Prabang center, then we head straight to the pier to take the 8:30 am long tail slow boat trip departure and head off on the mighty Mekong river.
Enjoy the many views from the cruise, witness rural laos, pass by local villages, fishermen, children and soak up the scenes of daily life by the river.

After the first hour and a bit, the boat takes its first short stop at the popular Ban Xang Hai, also known as ‘the whiskey village’. Here you visit the village, see the process of making Lao Lao, the country’s beloved rice whiskey and taste the fresh local delights. Why not pick up a couple of bottles for later!

We continue by boat travelling slowly along the Mekong in the direction of the glorious Pak Ou Caves. We arrive at a small boat landing dock where stairs lead you straight up to the cave. These limestone Buddhist caves have been a place of worship for thousands of years, over this time a collection of Buddha statues and idols have filled these spiritual natural caves

After the boat trip we go to enjoy lunch in a restaurant local restaurant. After lunch break, this adventure destination package takes you to Kuang Si Waterfall – you will have time to explore the three layered Kuang Si Waterfall walk the trails of the nature reserve and swim in the refreshing turquoise water pools and visit the bear rescue center.

Our way back into Luang Prabang we make a stop at Phou si Mount, to visit Mount Phousi. Rising 150m above the centre of town, Mount Phousi cuts a distinctive figure on the Luang Prabang skyline. The hill is a popular place to watch the sun set over the Mekong River. From the summit you can enjoy a spectacular 360 degree outlook across the city and its many temples, and out over the surrounding landscape to the mountains in the distance. Count on spending a couple of hours for the climb and descent, with several stops to see the temples, rest under shady trees and admire the magical views. After visiting Mount, our guide will take you back to hotel , arrive hotel the tour finish!

Day 4: Morning Alms Giving ceremony, Morning Market and airport/Train station?  (Meals: B)
Rise early to the sound of the temple gong, then join your guide (at 5:10am) for a walk through the quiet streets. Watch the daily procession of three hundred young Morning Alms Ceremony monks walk silently by, collecting sticky rice and other foods in their bronze bowls.
The ritual is linked to a Buddhist tradition in which monks beg for their daily food as a way to demonstrate humility. Almsgiving is an important religious act in Buddhism and it must be carried out respectfully by locals and tourists alike. If you would like to be involved in the offering of food, your guide will be more than happy to show you the best way to interact with monks. Watch as the monks disappear down the road in a long, 
You'll have time to visit Luang Prabang’s morning market, where you will see the locals haggling for fresh meat, fruit, and vegetables. our guide will get some local food and you will have change to enjoy them with local coffee/ drinks in a small restaurant in the busy market. Then our guide take you hace to your hotel for breakfast at 7:30 am
8:30Am Being pickup from your hotel / place to our office then taking the Electric car for the tour to Wat Mai Suwannaphumaram Monastery built in late 18th century founded by King Anurat (r. 1795-1817) in 1796 and Laos Cityrestored in 1821 by the King Manthatourat.
The Royal Palace Museum called as Haw Kham the Golden Hall, builds between 1904-1909 blend of Laotian and French Beaux Arts architectural as the new official royal residence for the monarchs of Luang Prabang and converted into a Museum in 1976.
The Royal Palace Museum opens from Wednesday to Monday at 8:00 am to 11:00 am, and 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
Then take the Electric Vehicle to The Wat Choumkhong built in 1843 by Phakhu Keo, during the reign of King Sukaseum (1836-1851). The sim was restored in 1933 and 1951.

The Wat Xieng Muan was founded in the mid-19th century by Phragna Sisonxay in 1853, during the reign of King Chantharath Koumane (1850-1868) .
And Visit: A Traditional Lao Wooden House (Heuan Chan Heritage Museum), learn about the architecture of Traditional Houses in Luang Prabang’s past.
The museum opens for from Monday to Friday at 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Discover the Colonial Architecture, on the way to the Wat Xieng Thong one of the most beautiful temple in the town. Wat Xieng Thong Ratsavoravihanh built in 1560 - 16th century by The King Setthathilat to commemorate the memory of the Chanthaphanith and Jataka stories from Buddhist cosmology. Xieng Thong Ratsavoravihanh, or Volavihan, the "Golden City or Golden Tree Monastery" is the most historically significant and impressive of Luang Prabang's temples a typical Laos Architecture of Luang Prabang. Then enjoy the way along the Mekong River until Wat Wisunalat and the famous Melon Stupa next to Wat Aham,

Wat Wisunalat built during the reign of King Wisunarat (1501-1520) and represents the earliest style referred as Luang Prabang Style of Lao temple architecture. And it was rebuilt between 1896 and 1898 and during the reign of King Sakkarin Kamsuk (r. 1894-1903). The Wat Pak Khan, built by Phagna Chanthep under the reign of King Inta Som (1727-76), it was reconstructed in the early 20th century. On the way of the Sakkalin Main street road main stop to:– Wat Kili built in 1773 by the Tai Phuan from Xieng Khouang under the reign of King Rama IV in Rattanakosin period. Next to the Wat Sibounheuang to finish the tour is to visit Wat Sen soukaram (Wat Sen) built in 1718, then take the Electric car to Royal Palace
