Today we start with a ride on the mountain bike, the journey starts with your guide on the paved road until the first Hmong village you will visit. You will have time to walk around and see the traditional houses of the Hmong people and their local life as farmers.

After a short rest we will cycle on a small dirt road, where you can enjoy landscape of rice fields between lime stone mountains of Muang Ngoi. In about 2 hours you will arrive the village Payong, where Mr. Pao and his family will welcome you for a short break. The next village Sopkan is settled at the Nam Ou River. Here you will enjoy a traditional Lao lunch. Taste the local and typical Lao flavors and spices!

After lunch the boat will be ready for you for the scenic boat ride on the Nam Ou river. You will see the local river life: People are fishing, children are swimming and playing, pigs and buffalos are sunbathing…
Gaze the unique view of the Nam Ou river in about 50 minutes cruise back to Nong Khiaw.
