8:30AM Being picked up from your hotel in Nong Khiaw or our Office then transfer to Nong Khiaw Pier  we starts our day here with a boat cruise upstream to Sopjam village (Weaving village). Here you will see the most scenic views of the Nam Ou river with the big limestone mountains.

Sopjam village not only attact customer about it landscape but it is also famous for its traditional Lao silk and cotton weaving. Via our guide the local people will show you how they are weaving silk and cotton scarfs with their beautiful pattern.

It is also a chance for you to purchase some souvenirs made by the local (not chinese machine) for you and your family at the cheapest price and support at the same time the local people directly.

After spending some time in this small but colorful village you will take the boat downstream and stop at Muang Ngoi village. You will have time to walk around the village, to visit the historical cave, which was used as a bomb shelter by the local people during the Second World War. You can also rest here, have a coffee or tea and enjoy the landscape.

We also spend Lunch here and after the lunch we walk back to boat to cruise back to Nong Khiaw.

On the boat you can have many beautifull pictures of the both side habitant daily life living or the photo of the sunset on Nam ou river before boat dock Nong Khiaw 's pier
